I like the Perry Mason TV series. It's a well done show... however, the very first episode shows Mr Mason doing... unethical things to win his case... now, to be fair, it's quite possible that his actions in the episode were normal during that time period, but it's quite shocking today.
Here's what he does: he takes the actual gun that was used in the crime ( with his bare hands, just putting his fingerprints all over that thing), takes it out to the actual crime scene, and... shoots the gun in the way it was used to commit the crime... my word! It works, obviously, and Mr Mason, the great lawyer, wins the case... but seriously... he touched the evidence and infiltrated an active crime scene and he got away with it! Just wow...
These brazen tactics I haven't seen in subsequent episodes, but he still occasionally is seen getting away with thing that seem quite unseemly and possibly illegal today.
