Yesterday, we went to the City Creek Mall. This was built and is owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It has a very nice layout, including a river and fish therein. There are many, many clothing stores. Also, a skywalk. While there, we found Elder missionaries. They are so hard to find in SLC. Their reason: "There are a lot of Mormons here already". That's not really an excuse, because sometimes just their presence helps to firm people's testimonies of the gospel.
Also, visited the Deseret Books store and enjoyed the amount of church related items. We bought a wooden handcart model to help remember our trip.
It's going to get over 100 degrees F this week. We're planning a lot of indoor activities.
