Many beautiful things are happening in Temple Square

Today was, of course, Sunday, the Lord's day. Our adventure began with looking for breakfast... on a Sunday... in a religious city... we ate at a Carl's Jr. Surprisingly, it was quite yummy and filling. Then, we went to Temple Square for a few moments and checked out some of the garden before heading to church at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. It had a member of the Seventy present, which was nice, and made me wish we had more prominent church members visit our church.

Went back to Temple Square and checked out the Visitor's centers. One had a model of the Temple as well as the rooms and what they represented. I felt happy about showing myrddan where I was going to go on Tuesday. There was also an exhibit about the prophets of the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and Joseph Smith. Only Mormon was a wax figure from Book of Mormon times. I was a bit annoyed at that. It would have been nice to see Lehi or Alma as wax as well. A kiosk was there where one could watch all the latest conference talks.

Had dinner at a buffet called Chuck-A-Rama. Reasonably priced and well done.
