* Over the summer, Lloyd Webber recorded a concept album of "Love Never Dies" using a 95-piece orchestra. Listening to it one afternoon, he suddenly decided he didn't like the orchestrations in the second act. So he brought all the musicians back into the studio and re-recorded half the album.
* He's already produced several workshops of the show, including one a few weeks ago that was strictly about the special effects and cost almost $500,000.
* The first round of sets didn't meet with his approval, so everything was scrapped. Designer Bob Crowley redid the entire show.
