South Pacific Review

First of all, I knew only two songs from this show, and none of the plot, prior to seeing it. This was all new to me. It was very engaging and very expensive. The orchestra was a prominent part of the show, all 30 members of it. The 40-person cast was amazing and worked quite well together. The first 20 minutes was a bit slow, but afterwards, the show went along very smoothy. I found it interesting that they cast people from Hawaii to be in this. Not sure the details of that, but it was a great choice. The giant airplane set was amazing and shocking to see. This show is a great piece of theatre history with elements such as racism, WWII, and army life in general. GO AND SEE IT!!!

5 out of 5.
