Well, I saw it. The Add1ing Machin3 musical, based on the play from the 20s. It truly does capture the spirit and the essence of the orignal, and, for what it's worth, it does update the play, in a sense. It's hard to explain how, unless one has read the play. There was a HUGE set and lighting budget and the lights and sets were amazing. There was also a great use of projection and animation towards the end as well. The acting was good, and the ensemble was magnificant. There were a few slow moments toward the end, and one in the beginning, but otherwise it was a decent show. I highly suggest this musical, although, I do not think it will last on Broadway until it's cleaned up a bit, the show is still a bit too small for that.
