Galway and Connemara

So here are the first bunch of trip pix.

Firstly, we left from JFK airport on Aer Lingus on the way to Shannon Airport.

We landed at 6.30 am GMT, and took a bus over to Galway City.

Galway is an arty town. Home of the Claddagh Ring.
On one of their main shopping streets is a bench with two statues on it: Oscar Wilde and Eduardo Wilde.

There is also a McDonalds that has plush seats, and HDTV with BBC News on it.

OMG! Look what they have on tap!!!!

One of the days we were there, we took a bus tour out into the Connemara area and saw a varity of things, nature, an abandoned monastary, and an abbey.

Here's a pic of the Galway City wall. A mall was built around it:

not in Galway, as most of the time we were there, it was a Bank Holiday, so the pubs were overcrowded. However, we did in Dublin, and I have a pic of that. :)
